Morning Fuzz Bio about the Band:

Can a rock n? roll band with melodic vocals, roaring guitars, solid bass, three-part vocal harmonies, and a human drummer still exist in 2013? Well, rub your eyes and clear your heads America and say welcome to Morning Fuzz!

Morning Fuzz is a rock quartet formed in 2009 in New York by front man, vocal/guitarist, Frank Fussa and childhood friend, bassist, Christopher Johanidesz. Like many successful acts, Morning Fuzz is the Phoenix born from the musical ashes of Frank and Chris? previous band, Ultra High Frequency. After the release of well-received LP, an extensive U.S. tour, and stint in Los Angeles, UHF came to an abrupt end. Frank and Chris decided to return to their roots, New York, and start up a new project. Upon returning to the Big Apple, the duo concocted their own unique mash-up of alternative rock, catchy lyrics, and radio-friendly hooks, which became the formula for their new band, Morning Fuzz. Now, in an era of ?digital? music, Morning Fuzz seeks to stay true to the meaning of Rock n? Roll by using Fussa?s powerful songwriting talent, expansive vocal ranges and captivating guitar riffs, that all together create a sound that?s authentic and pure.
The Morning Fuzz started off strong, releasing two critically acclaimed EP?s. Despite their initial success, however, the band was soon hindered by a plethora of drummer changes. Eventually, the band was graced with the presence of the amazingly talented and versatile Italian drummer named Marco Sulis. The band also acquired longtime friend, guitarist extraordinaire, Michael Cullari, who completed the band?s direction toward a big, dual guitar sound.

Morning Fuzz has already cemented their position in the music scene, playing various venues in N.Y.C. and throughout the East Coast. Over the years, the band has consistently electrified crowds and gained a solid reputation for putting on energy-infused live shows. The guys take a classic approach with their music, tirelessly rehearsing and sweating off their proverbial asses to perfect their sound in the perfectly secluded setting of a dingy Brooklyn basement.
Recently, Morning Fuzz finished recording their debut, full-length album, Chasing Ghosts, at Laundry Room Studio in Seattle, WA, with renowned producer, Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, etc.). Fussa recalls, ?We chose to get away from our everyday life and distractions and headed out to Seattle for a couple weeks. Living in Barrett?s house, we were constantly seeing CDs and gold records of our favorite bands, one?s he produced, just hanging on the wall. It was also a total inspiration!? The fruit of their labor is a ten-song masterpiece that will have listeners humming melodies, rocking out air drum fills, and singing hooks in the shower. Feast your ears on ?Chasing Ghosts?, a fulfilling dosage of stand out, catchy Rock n? Roll, gracefully spoon-fed to fans by their new pals, Frank, Chris, Marco and Mike. Fussa says, ?Basically it?s about how I have been pushing full force with my music since I was a little kid and how tougher it gets as older you get. We chase the feelings down a road of uncertainty with no looking back!? The track “You Say”, which is currently being filmed for a music video, was created out of a repetitive little melody dancing about in singer Fussa?s mind, ?one day I got a marching beat stuck in my head so I started playing and singing the melody I had to that kind of beat. I brought it to practice and just came up with the rest of the song once we started jamming.?

Altogether, Morning Fuzz has awakened the music scene to their new, classic sound and are extremely excited for the country to take a listen. ?We are very proud of what we?ve done at the Laundry Room and can?t wait to share this record with everyone!?
